2- The Unveiling

Let us speak more of this concept of the unveiling in this post. Things that are kept a secret are usually covered in one way or another. People who keep a secret do not speak about it; a murderer who kills hides his murder weapon; and a person in high position who is corrupt will use his power to cover up his acts. There is a veil, a dark one that is kept over so that the truth would not be revealed. I have understood that God does the opposite when it comes to the veiling. Not just the unveiling in itself that matters, but that we will learn that God Himself desires to unveil Himself to any that seek knowledge of Him. This is because God is a Spirit of Truth (read John 15:26, John 16:13). Notice, in John 15:26 God’s Spirit is called the Spirit of Truth and as I had mentioned in my previous post, discovered quantified knowledge, which logic and science so preciously seeks to discover, is only one facet of the bigger principle which we call truth. Hence, the truth itself can only be derived from its creator and original source, which is the Spirit of God; also notice that the Spirit of Truth will do one prominent thing among many and that is to testify or reveal the mysteries of Christ to out hearts. In John 16:13 however more light is shed, as to unveil, about the Spirit of Truth. This is crucial. Here Christ speaks and says that same Spirit of Truth will guide the human race, those of course that only seek, in all truth and that He will also unveil things to come, or what we call the Eschatology of the Scriptures.

It is that simple. Truth can finally be discovered and the one who reveals it is the Spirit of God, and there is a promise that this same Spirit desires to lift veils off the truth that exists all around us. It was one of my brightest days when I comprehended that He truly desires to show Himself and reveal His secrets to any soul that panteth after Him. The very word Apocalypse is a derivation of the Greek word apokalupsis, which simply means unveiling. The last book of the Scriptures, written by the Apostle John the Beloved speaks of the revelation, or the revealing, the unveiling of truth, or as we commonly know it as the Apocalypse, (read Rev 1:1). This revelation is the unveiling of Jesus Christ as said by the opening verse of the book. The unveiling here can mean two things; the unveiling that Christ gave to John or the unveiling of Christ Himself to John. I believe it is prominently the unveiling of Christ Himself and through this comes the revelation of the events filmed so vividly in John's spirit mind. The divinity of Christ is so widely expressed in the book that it is hard to read it and not see the theme of it so entrenched and present in every chapter.

Meditate on this verse and ponder its words…

“He is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, for it neither sees him nor recognizes him. But you recognize him, for he abides with you and will be in you” (John 14:17).

Look at the picture above. The clouds cover the sky completely, but there is a window that unveils the heaven, a break in the cloud. The same way it is with the truth; there is a veil around it but there is always a break in the veil to see what is beyond; that window, that break in the clouds is the Spirit of God. Why dont you take a minute and think on this and than in your heart ask that same Spirit to reveal what He wishes to reveal to you.

1- The Unveiling/رفع البرقع

The universe is filled with mystery. There is no question that humanity is on a continuous quest to unveil the mysteries that surrounds it. Many have decontructed the unseen and the mysterious, and confined it within the sphere of mere human logic. This is mainly due to the age of Enlightenment, which set way to the scientific method; hence what is quantified and is tested became the basis for knowledge, a good thing that is. But yet, we must realize that discovered knowledge is only a diminutive part of a bigger principle; that which we call truth. Science however seems to continuously discover what can be discovered but yet is faced by the endless challenge of still mysteries that shadow our very existence. Logic and reason became the basis of all that we do in the modern era.

Undoubtedly however, there is an emergence of new ideologies that seem to understand that science, quantitive analysis, and reason cannot give all the answers to the manifold questions. There is still the mysterious that transcends the logic. We have been ushered in the post-modern era where pluralism and relativism is the trend of thinking. Multitudes have turned to New Age, Mysticism, and other philosophies. The spiritual is finding way again to the core of humanity. While science keeps advancing the human race, it seems that it is still limited to shed light on those things that are beyond explanation. Simply put, there are dimensions that need to be unveiled, principles of a higher law that transcend the material. In fact, I believe that the material is merely a reflection of another unseen dimension. Some call it the spiritual, and others call it a mystic realm.

I on the other hand, do not believe that the mysterious is a realm or a plane of a different existence, but rather it is an Eternal Being . The unforeseen is constantly sought and searched, and there is an inquisition to unveil it. Many search to unveil the realm, my search has been to unveil this very live Being. It is my understanding that the more of God is unveiled, the more I can understand the spiritual realm which simply extends out of who He is. The spiritual abode only reflects His attributes and nature since it is only a part of Him. The uncontained Eternal Spirit of God is so abstract and so complex, so infinite and so endless, that the only thing that can contain Him is His own Personhood. And yet He has decided to unveil the complexities of His thought to the human race, to simplify what cannot be simplified through the unveiling. And not just so, The Eternal Spirit has constantly looked for the right construct to communicate His thoughts, so that even the most simple minded can be enlightened.

Just think of this verse for a while, and ponder its meaning until we continue again in our meditations...

“But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit” (2 Cor. 3:18).

QUESTION: Can you see the reflection of the clouds in the water from the sky? Heaven reflects the same way on earth. Have you ever experienced a sudden deep thought about a spiritual truth in your own heart? Could that have been God unveiling Himself to you?

الكون مملوء بألعجائب و الأسرار. بلا شك أن البشرية دائماً في بحث مستديم لكشف هذه الأسرار التي تحيط به. و قدحاول البعض تحليل و تفسير الغير منظور و الغامض و قصره في إطار عالم المنطق البشرى المجرد. و هذا يرجع بالدرجة الأولى إلى حركة التنوير الفلسفية في القرن الثامن عشر, و التي هيئة سبيل للمناهج العلمية: ثم ما هو قابل للقياس و الاختبار أصبح الأساس للمعرفة, مما يعتبر جيد. ولكن على الرغم من ذلك, لابد أن ندرك أن المعرفة المكتشفة هي مجرد جزء صغير من مبدأ اكبر: و هو ما نسميه الحق. و لكن يبدو أن العلم يكتشف باستمرارما يمكن اكتشافه على أساس المنطق و العقل حتى الان و لكنه ، مع ذلك ، يواجه تحديا لا نهائيا و لم يتمكن من إكتشاف الأسرار التي تحيط بوجودنا. ان المنطق و العقل اصباحا الاساس لكل ما نقوم به فى العصر الحديث

مما لا شك فيه هناك انبثاق لايديولوجيات جديدة التى من الواضح انها ادركت ان العلم و التحليل الكمى و العقل لم يستطيعوا الاجابة على كل التساؤلات المتعددة، لأنة لازال يوجد الغموض الذي يفوق المنطق. فقد تم إدخالنا لعصر ما بعد الحديث حيث التعددية و النسبية (مذهب يقرر ان المعرفة نسبة بين العارف و المعروف) هما الاتجاه الشائع في التفكير. و قد اتجه الكثيرون إلى "نيو أدج أي العصر الجديد"،التصوف*( الروحانية ) وغيرها من الفلسفات. واصبحت الروحانيات مصدر أهتمام البشرية مرة اخرى. بينما يتقدم العلم بألجنس البشري، إلا أنه لم يتمكن من كشف هذه الأمور الروحية. بمعنى أخر هناك أبعاد لم تُرفع عنها الستار، مبادئ ذات قانون أعلى تسمو فوق الوجود المادي. في الواقع, أنى أؤمن أن الواقع المادي ليس غير انعكاس لبعد آخر غير مرئي. أنا لا أعتقد أنها أجواء أو عالم مختلف، بل أنها كيان أزلي.

* التصوف هو المذهب الباطنى : وهو الايمان بأن المعرفة المباشرة بالله أو بالحقيقة الروحية يمكن أن تتم للمرء عن طريق التأمل أو الرؤيا أو النور الباطنى و بطريقة تختلف عن الادراك الحسى العادى أو اصطناع التفكير المنطقى.
و هو أيضا كل نظرية تؤكد امكان نيل المعرفة أ و القوة عن طريق الايمان أو التبصّر الروحى

أن فضول الأنسان المستديم أدى إلى كشف ما لم يسبق كشفه من قبل حول هذه الأجواء. ولكني أبحث لكشف هذا الكيان الحي. على ما أعتقد أنه كلما أُكتشف عن الله، كلما أُكتشف عن الأجواء الروحية التي تُستمد منه.هذه الأجواء تعكس صفاته و طبيعته لأنها جزء منه. أفهم أنه كلما زاد اكتشافى لله ، كلما زاد فهمى للعالم الروحى. المقام الروحي يعكس فقط خاصته و طبيعته حيث أنها فقط جزء منة. ان روح الله الأبدى الغير محتوى مُجرد جداً و مُعقد جداً، سرمدى و لانهائى حتى أنة الشيء الوحيد الذي يمكن أن يحتويه هو شخصه. و بالرغم من ذلك فقد قرر أن يكشف أفكاره المركبة للبشرية لتبسيط مالا يمكن تبسيطه
من خلال أن يكشف لنا عن ذاته، عن فكره المتشعب للبشرية. الروح الأزلي قد كشف لنا عن طرق للوصول إليه. و ليس ذلك فقط بل ان الروح السرمدى يبحث دائما عن الطريق الصحيح لتوصيل أفكاره حتى يمكن انارة أبسط العقول. هذا هورفع البرقع.

فقط فكر فى هذه الاية لفترة و تامل فى معناها حتى نستكمل تأملاتنا.

" وَنَحْنُ جَمِيعاً نَاظِرِينَ مَجْدَ الرَّبِّ بِوَجْهٍ مَكْشُوفٍ، كَمَا فِي مِرْآةٍ، نَتَغَيَّرُ إِلَى تِلْكَ الصُّورَةِ عَيْنِهَا، مِنْ مَجْدٍ إِلَى مَجْدٍ، كَمَا مِنَ الرَّبِّ الرُّوحِ." 2 كور 3 : 18

سؤال:
هل تستطيع أن تري انعكاس السحب على الماء ؟ هكذا تنعكس السماء على الأرض. هل أختبرت من قبل أي حق روحي قد أتى بغتةً الى قلبك؟ أيمكن أن يكون الله يكشف لك عن ذاته؟

Blogging at last/بلوجينك

Never ever did I think of blogging simply because the busyness of life kept me from engaging the world of the net this way. I do write quite often, and I enjoy it much; so finally I thought why not? Let me take a good shot at it. But the real inspiration came from an emerging leader in my ministry, who I consider a "computer whiz", who began his own blog not too long ago.

I have thought much of the content that I should write about, and thought even more of the title that should be given. Coincidentally, not too long ago, I was reading my personal diary which I have kept since I was 16 years old. Suddenly, it seemed clear to me that there is a certain theme that marked my life. The theme had to do with my own personal journey through life, and the secrets that I have discovered about myself as a person, about life in its fullness, and most of all about my creator, who has created me for a purpose. It seemed to me that life was a constant unveiling of who He is, what He has done through the ages, and what He intends to do. It was so clear to me; it’s all connected, in sync. in all sense of the word.

So...my dear reader, this blog is for everyone to share their thoughts and comments. Feel free. I will break my topics into several posts in numerical order so as to make it easier to read. I don’t intend for it to be academically inclined nor will it be strictly meditative. It will be a narration, a teaching, a thought provoking proverb here and there. In it I will share my own personal journey, and the realization of my own destiny. This realization came about because I learned through unveiling of truths that I see as relatively absolute and progressively revelatory; two concepts which I will share further on. The blog is my story, my personal journey, the things I learned, the things I suffered, and mostly the truth that was unveiled in all of it. I hope that at the end it would point out to the master author and writer of the story; Christ Himself.

أنا لم أفكر من قبل بلوجينك لمشاغل الحياة التي لم تتيح لي من قبل أن أنشغل بألانترنيت. كثيراً ما أدون تأملاتي قد قررت أخيراً أن أبدأ

فكرت كثيراً في الموضوع الذي أكتب عنه و عنوانه. بمحض الصدفة كنت أقرأ مذكراتي التي أحتفظت بها منذ كان عمري السادسة عشر، و وضح لي الموضوع الذي بلور حياتي، ذو علاقه برحلة حياتي الشخصية و الأشياء التي أكتشفتها عن نفسي كإنسان، و عن الحياة، و بألاخص عن الخالق الذي خلقني لقصد معين. بدى لي أن الحياة هي عبارة عن رفع البرقع عنه، عن ما فعله خلال الزمن، و ما يعني أن يفعل

فياعزيزي القارئ هذا البلوجينك لك، و لكل من يريد أن يشارك في التعبير عن أفكاره. سأقسم الموضوعات الى عواميد مرقمة مرتبة حتى يسهل عليك قراءتها. لن تكون موضوعات أكاديميه بحته، ولا موضوعات تأمليه بحته. بل ستكون سرد، تعليم و أمثال. سأشاركك عن مقتطفات من رحلة حياتي، و إدراكي عن مقصدي في الحياة. هذا ألادراك الذي تعلمته من خلال رفع البرقع عن الحق الذي أراه مطلق
